What Will We Be Feeling?

About The Q&F + WVE Detroit Conference

The Qualified & Fit(Q&F) Conferences are transformative self success gatherings that empower top performers on finding joy, resilience and compassion in every moment.  Join engaging sessions that prioritize employee engagement, business networking, and the pursuit of both hobby and passion..

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III said, "As long as you're fit and you can qualify, there's a place for you on this team."

This inspired our vision of civilian communities that are qualified and fit to serve each other through compassion and the power of disciplined love.  We have defined these terms outside of the military environment, and are empowering people through training that finds and eliminates barriers to prosperity.

The conference is April 27, 2024, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. EST, and is hosted by the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights at the Union Carpenters and Millwrights Skilled Training Center, 11687 American Ave, Detroit MI.

Access to the event is complimentary, lunch is included, and pre-registration is required. Participation is ideal for people facing perceived performance growth limitations, as well as women working in male-dominated fields. Sponsorship proceeds support military Veterans and their families.

Our certified instructors fuse the Others Over Self® mindset with knowledge from proven methods including Worldmaker International’s THRIVE and TCLF’s Healthy Daily Schedules— all to build more joy and sustainability into our societies.

Programming includes highly interactive workshops, main stage speakers, facilitated networking sessions and more.  The Q&F framework brings to light each of the 8 dimensions of wellness with topics that fall on the growth spectrum of individual-team-community—  and it all starts with self awareness.

Together, we develop practical steps to mitigate and manage stress, burnout, self neglect, pain, illness, injuries and symptoms associated with rising mental illnesses [such as post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, and substance use and abuse].  Along with work quality, we are bettering overall employee wellness and individual neuroplasticity through engaging lessons on self esteem, confidence, happiness, healthy coping skills, interpersonal skills and more— all through the lens of self reflection.

Bolstering the event once again is Women Veterans Engage (WVE)- Detroit, aimed at connecting and empowering military women.  The WVE national conference out of California is being hosted in a live broadcast on-site as part of the Q+F Conference.
