Who is this event for?

Wine industry business owners, managers, key sales, marketing, DTC and branding personnel, regional associations, and wine industry stakeholders.

Once again, WISA has curated a dynamic selection of international and local experts addressing key topics to help you thrive in 2024 and beyond.  

 

Headlining this year’s conference is Europe-based Business of Drinks Co-Founder and award-winning wine journalist Felicity Carter.   Felicity’s keynote address will showcase significant global wine trends and reveal some silver linings of profitability.


Delegates will also hear from Rabobank’s Pia Piggot, author of the hard-hitting report Swimming in Wine, and Hamish Saxton from Hawke’s Bay Tourism, a wine region recently emerging from a catastrophic cyclone event.

 

Andre Morgenthal will discuss the merits of applying a Certified Heritage seal to wines produced from South Africa’s oldest vines and the challenges of positioning and promoting a brand new wine region.

A series of breakout sessions will focus on the practicalities of responding to a rapidly changing consumer preferences, market constraints and technology advancements.  Presentations will include real-life case studies of successful SME wine businesses, wine regions and tourism destinations.  


Rounding out the day is the effervescent Rob Edwards OAM, a leading wellbeing speaker who works with people at all levels of business.  Known for his effective workplace health appraisals, women’s health initiatives, philanthropic work in remote Pacific Island schools and efforts to create plastic free oceans, Rob will inspire you to look after your business’s most important asset: YOU!

Discover what makes South Australian wine regions special.

 

Hear from local legends, discover award-winning wines, learn about the region’s viticultural history, participate in world-class winery experiences, speak with winery owners about their successful DTC strategies and explore regional wine and food tourism offerings.  
Places are strictly limited to one bus per region.

 

Which regions? Well, that’s a surprise for now…  


Buses depart at 08:45 from Adelaide Oval and return around 17:00.  

If there is enough demand, one bus can return via Adelaide airport for flights departing after 17:00.
